Meet MarieAnn Zumpone-Weibley, Au.D., CCC-A

MarieAnn has over 31 years of experience in the field of Audiology. She received her Au.D. from Salus University in Elkins Park, PA.

She has always been interested in hearing, having had multiple family members with ear-related issues. She knew she wanted a healthcare role, and Audiology was the perfect combination of healthcare professional and working with ears. Additionally, it afforded her the opportunity to see a variety of patient populations and pursue different avenues within the field.

The ability to get to know a patient and help them navigate their hearing issues is truly special. She has been privileged to work with some patients since early childhood and now am watching them become successful adults. Knowing she was part of the support they received for their hearing makes her feel like she’s contributed to the improvement of her community. She absolutely loves being able to work with patients over the course of many years and help them in their hearing journey.

She always tries to maintain that each patient is an individual and they need to be part of the process in remediating their hearing impairment. Getting to know their needs and expectations helps her to better support them as they navigate life with hearing challenges. Additionally, she tries to make all patient experiences educational for them as oftentimes they have never had hearing testing and do not understand the technology. She wants the patient to feel involved in the process to allow for them to be an active partner in their care rather than just a recipient of services.

Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her husband and children. They are a big Disney family and travel to Disney World frequently. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats, especially while watching the NY Mets. She also enjoys oil painting, making skincare products, and cooking for her family and friends.
